Ezekiel 1:7

Ezekiel 1:7
"And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass."

7272 regel; from 7270; a foot (as used in walking); by implication a step; by euphemism the pudenda:-- x be able to endure, x according as, x after, x coming, x follow, ([broken-]) foot ([-ed, -stool]), x great toe, x haunt, x journey, leg, + piss, + possession, time.

7270 ragal; a primitive root; to walk along; but only in specific applications, to reconnoitre, to be a tale-bearer (i.e. slander); also (as denominatively from 7272) to lead about:--backbite, search, slander, (e-) spy (out), teach to go, view.

were STRAIGHT feet;

3474 yashar; a primitive root; to be straight or even; figuratively to be (causatively to make) right, pleasant, prosperous:--direct, fit, seem good (meet), + please (well), be (esteem, go) right (on), bring (look, make, take the) straight (way), be upright (-ly).

and the SOLE of their feet

3709 kaph; from 3721; the hollow hand or palm (so of the paw of an animal, of the sole, and even of the bowl of a dish or sling, the handle of a bolt, the leaves of a palm-tree); figuratively power:--branch, + foot, hand ([-ful], -dle, [-led]), hollow, middle, palm, paw, power, sole, spoon.

was like the sole of a CALF's foot

5695 'egel; from the same as 5696; a (male) calf (as frisking round), especially one nearly grown (i.e. a steer):--bullock, calf.

5696 'agol; or 'agowl; from an unused root meaning to revolve, circular:--round.

1992 hem; or hemmah; masculine plural from 1931; they (only used when emphatic):--it, like, x (how, so) many (soever, more as) they (be), (the) same, x so, x such, their, them, these, they, those, which, who, whom, withal, ye.

1931 hiy'; a primitive word, the third person pronoun singular, he (she or it); only expressed when emphatic or without a verb; also (intensively) self, or (especially with the article) the same; sometimes (as demonstrated) this or that; occasionally (instead of copula) as or are:--he, as for her, him (-self), it, the same, she (herself), such, that (... it), these, they, this, those, which (is), who.

SPARKLED

5340 natsats; a primitive root; to glare, i.e. be bright- colored:--sparkle.

like the COLOUR of

5869 'ayin; probably a primitive word; an eye (literally or figuratively); by analogy a fountain (as the eye of the landscape): --affliction, outward appearance, + before, + think best, colour, conceit, + be content, countenance, + displease, eye ([-brow], [-d], -sight), face, + favour, fountain, furrow [from the margin], x him, + humble, knowledge, look, (+ well), x me, open (-ly), + (not) please, presence, + regard, resemblance, sight, x thee, x them, + think, x us, well, x you (-rselves).

BURNISHED

7044 qalal; from 7043; brightened (as if sharpened):--burnished, polished.

7043 qalal; a primitive root; to be (causatively make) light, literally (swift, small, sharp, etc.) or figuratively (easy, trifling, vile, etc.):--abate, make bright, bring into contempt, (ac-) curse, despise, (be) ease (-y, -ier), (be a, make, make somewhat, move, seem a, set) light (-en, -er, -ly, -ly afflict, -ly esteem, thing), x slight [-ly], be swift (-er), (be, be more, make, re-) vile, whet.

BRASS

5178 nechosheth; for 5154; copper; hence, something made of that metal, i.e. coin, a fetter; figuratively base (as compared with gold or silver):--brasen, brass, chain, copper, fetter (of brass), filthiness, steel.
