Ezekiel 1:11

Ezekiel 1:11 "Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upwards; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies."

6437 panah; a primitive root; to turn; by implication to face, i.e. appear, look, etc:--appear, at [even-] tide, behold, cast out, come on, x corner, dawning, empty, go away, lie, look, mark, pass away, prepare, regard, (have) respect (to), (re-) turn (aside, away, back, face, self), x right [early].

3671 kanaph; from 3670; an edge or extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, (of a garment or bed-clothing) a flap, (of the earth) a quarter, (of a building) a pinnacle: -- + bird, border, corner, end, feather [-ed], x flying, + (one an-) other, overspreading, x quarters, skirt, x sort, uttermost part, wing ([-ed]).

3670 kanaph; a primitive root; properly to project laterally, i.e. probably (reflexively) to withdraw:--be removed.

6504 parad; a prmitive root; to break through, i.e. spread or separate (oneself):--disperse, divide, be out of joint, part, scatter (abroad), separate (self), sever self, stretch, sunder.

2266 chabar; a primitive root; to join (literally or figuratively); specifically (by means of spells) to fascinate:--charm (-er), be compact, couple (together), have fellowship with, heap up, join (self, together), league.

3680 kacah; a primitive root: properly to plump, i.e. fill up hollows; by implication to cover (for clothing or secrecy):--clad self, close, clothe, conceal, cover (self), (flee to) hide, overwhelm Compare 3780.

3780 kasah; a primitive root; to grow fat (i.e. be covered with flesh):--be covered. Compare 3680.

their BODIES

1472 geviyah; prolongation for 1465; a body whether alive or dead:--(dead) body, carcase, corpse.

1465 gevah; feminine of 1460; the back, i.e. (by extension) the person:--body.

1460 gev; from 1342 [corresponding to 1354]; the back; by analogy the middle:--+ among, back, body.

1342 ga'ah; a primitive root; to mount up; hence in general to rise, (figuratively) be majestic:--gloriously, grow up, increase, be risen, triumph.

1354 gab; from an unused root meaning to hollow or curve; the back (as rounded [compare 1460 and 1479]; by analogy the top or rim, a boss, a vault, arch of eye, bulwarks, etc.:--back, body, boss, eminent (higher) place, [eye] brows, nave, ring.

1479 guwph; a primitive root; properly to hollow or arch, i.e. (figuratively) close; to shut:--shut.
