Using Skyphoto (freeware astronomical package showing stars and
constellations for anywhere on earth for any time in history [93k]
--www.worldaccess.nl/~keesnoor/files/skyphoto.zip) with:

latitude 32 (view from Jerusalem)
date 28/03/98
view direction 180 (south)
view height 45

the following are in perfect alignment (from right to left--east to west):
Neptune, Uranus, Venus, Jupiter, Sun, Mars, Saturn Mercury (of course, the
viewer is standing on earth. Some charts show the moon as being aligned also,
but this program does not show this.)

The constellation that this alignment is "coming" from is Sagittarius - Archer:
"This is the fourth sign of the zodiac. The Hebrew and Syrian name is Kesith:
the Archer. The Arabic name is Al Kaus: the arrow. In the Denderah Zodiac he
has the Coptic name Pimaere: the beauty of the coming one. Under one foot is
written Knem: He conquers. The Greek name Toxotes means: the Archer, just as
the Latin name Sagittarius. The brightest star is Kaus Australis. The Hebrew
name Naim of this star means: the gracious one. The second brightest star
has the ancient Akkadian name Nunki: Prince of the earth."

The contellation that this alignment is "pointing" to is Aries - Ram:
"Aries is the eighth sign of the zodiac. The Hebrew name is Taleh: the lamb.
The Akkadian name was Baraziggar: the sacrifice of righteousness. One of the
stars bears the Arabic name Hamal: sheep, gentle, merciful. An ancient name
for this star is El Natik: slain. The name of another star is Al Sheratan:
the wounded. Another star bears the Hebrew name Mesartim: the bound."

All quotes are from the Skyphoto program. For a little more info see Bullinger's
"Witness of the Stars" at www.mv.com/ipusers/butterfly/witness/00index.htm

It is also interesting to note that comet Hale-Bopp "started" its journey in
Sagittarius. For more info on this see "Hail, Hale-Bopp!" at
